THE STORY
HELIOS follows veteran explorer and skier José Luis Gómez as he prepares for a high-risk helicopter landing and ski descent on Chimborazo, Ecuador. At extreme altitude, with little margin for error, the expedition becomes more than a physical challenge.
It becomes a confrontation with time — the time changing the mountain, and the finite time in which a man can still attempt something of this magnitude.
For many, this may be the ultimate challenge. For Jose, it marks the beginning of a deeper exploration.
